About this trip

The dive site

Broughton Island, located about 14km off Port Stephens, is part of the Great Lakes Marine Park. The island boasts many sites with gutters, reef, bommies and much more!

Marine life

As Broughton Island falls within a Marine Park, there is an abundance of a healthy reef and marine life. There is a large aggregation of grey nurse sharks, which are there all year round, and seasonal visits from beautiful humpback whales.  The reef and the island are also bursting with macro life, including seahorses and nudibranchs among other things.

What you will see
