Your search for the illusive Weedy Seadragons will begin with a surface swim out at Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve before descending and heading to the outer reef… Dragon Patch!
Our local marine reserve, contains some of the most diverse marine life in Sydney. Whilst searching for Weedy Seadragons you can expect to see the NSW state fish – the Eastern Blue Groper, colourful nudibranchs, octopus, stingrays, large schools of fish, cuttlefish, Wobbegong sharks, some tropical species and occasionally turtles.
All you need to bring with you is a sense of adventure, certification card, swimmers, towel and any personal dive equipment you wish to use on the day. For non-certified divers we offer our Discover Scuba dive experience.
Please note that this dive does require a surface swim out before starting your dive.
