The island is home to the largest fur seal colony on the NSW coast and is a breeding ground for around 15 bird species – while dolphins, whales and endangered grey nurse sharks can all be seen at various times of year.
Most of the seals are at a depth of 3 – 15m, which provides a great dive experience for all dive levels.
We head out on the boat to dive Montague Island on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday morning.
After a 25 minute boat ride we will arrive at the island where the seals can be found. Between the dives you will have the chance to warm up with hot soup before jumping in for the second dive.
Included: • 3 nights motel accommodation • 6 spectacular boat dives • dive with up to 100 curious seals • you can even see Grey Nurse Sharks, Manta Rays, Kingfish, dolphins, trevally, turtles… • Afternoon free time for plenty of sightseeing or simply relaxing
