About this course
This course bridges the gap between recreational and technical diving, offering divers the opportunity to gain experience and develop skills with technical diving equipment configurations whilst focusing on buoyancy and trim.
$395 - 1 day course with two no-stop dives
The PADI Tec Basics Course introduces recreational divers to technical diving procedures and equipment, such as twin tanks and long hose setups. During this one-day course, you will develop skills and techniques on finning, buoyancy control, and trim to prepare you to go to new depths as a Technical Diver.
This course is a prerequisite for divers to gain foundational skills before taking PADI’s Tec 40 Course.
What You'll Learn
Over two dives, knowledge reviews and practical applications, you will learn;

- Gas planning, oxygen limits and decompression planning

- Fins & Mask - A backup mask is also recommended*
Prerequisites:
- PADI Advanced Diver or equivalent
- PADI Enriched Air Diver or equivalent
- PADI Deep Diver or equivalent (Recommended)
- Minimum 15 years old
- Physician Signed Medical Questionnaire
